This Hojicha is made by carefully roasting high-quality sencha. It is a tea with a pleasant roasted aroma and a good aftertaste, roasted at a factory in Kyoto Yamashiro, a famous tea-producing area.

To enjoy this tea, put three spoonfuls (about 8g) of Hojicha and 500ml of water in a filter bottle or large teapot and refrigerate for about an hour before serving.

This is a refreshing way to enjoy the hojicha, usually brewed with hot water, to enjoy the roasted aroma. Still, by extracting it with cold water, you can enjoy a more apparent taste and even more flavor.
