The signature sweet sakura fragrance is more abundant in the leaves than in the flowers. To enhance this natural aroma, domestically sourced sakura leaves are salt-pickled, then carefully washed and dried. This process preserves their floral essence while minimizing saltiness, allowing the sakura notes to shine.
Paired with Kabusecha, this tea offers a smooth, slightly savory profile with a lingering aroma finish. The result is a well-balanced green tea that highlights the natural depth of the tea leaves and the elegant fragrance of sakura.
Brewing Instructions
- Place one tea bag into a teacup.
- Pour 140ml of hot water (cooled to 80°C).
- Steep for approximately one minute, then gently shake the bag before removing it.
